![]() ![]() ![]() You select the only target (preferably when it's still outside of your AA range) and it loses planes 82% faster inside the outermost AA aura ring. Situations where this skill is advantageous: Please correct me if I am wrong here! Edit: Was corrected: only 1 target per aura ring gets attacked, same with and without the skill. Thus the "additional" effect of this skill is actually 200/110=82 percent more DPS against a single selected target while all other targets do not get attacked at all in the outermost AA aura ring. However, please remember that without this skill, manual selection already increases the efficiency by 10% against a single target. If I interpret this correctly it means that with this skill only a single selected squad can be hit in the outermost AA aura ring anymore. AA of 85 mm or less will operate normally, and without this accuracy bonus. With this skill, AA larger than 85 mm will not fire at all without manual target selection. It requires the player to manually select a target by holding down Ctrl and left-clicking on it. +100% efficiency (DPS) to AA guns exceeding 85 mm against a designated target. It's explained quite well here, please read it and look at the picture because otherwise you might be confused by some of the expressions below. ![]() ![]() So far I am undecided if I would skill it on my high-tier US BBs because it's quite expensive for 4 points and I can imagine that in some situations it's even bad to have it.įirstly, you have to know how AA works. Hello, I wanted to start a discussion on this skill because (imho) it's quite complicated to see how it influences situations in which you want to defend against incoming torpedo and dive bomber squads. Thanks StuntMan0369 for linking to a better information source. Edit: The official Wiki entry on Anti Air mechanics missed a very critical information (only 1 plane squad can be attacked inside an AA aura ring), so most of my discussion below was made under a wrong assumption. ![]()
